Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known by the name Ashanti was born October 13 the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is a US singer and songwriter. Ashanti gained fame as when she was a teen. In 2002, she was signed to Murder Inc. Records. The that same year, she was included on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? track and Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both of them were huge hits. The first female artist to have the top two spots within the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at first place and Luv? at number two. Ashanti's debut self-titled record was made available by Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. on the label in 2002. The Declaration The fourth studio album was released June 3, 2008. Hey Baby, After the Club (released on radio and digital format) was released on October 16 on the 16th of October, 2008. She also starred in the films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Aitch was seen wearing in her Rock wit U sample in Baby on the 10th of March in 2022.
